How to create smokey eyes- Tips and Tricks

If you're looking to add a touch of drama to your eye makeup, there's no better way than with a smokey eyeliner look. Smokey eyeliner is a versatile and timeless makeup trend that can be worn day or night, and it's easier to achieve than you might think.

Here are some tips for creating the perfect smokey eyeliner look:

1.Start with a clean and moisturized eye area. Apply an eye primer to ensure your eyeliner stays put.

2.Choose the right eyeliner. A soft kohl pencil or a gel eyeliner in black or brown are ideal for creating a smokey effect. Liquid liners can also work, but they require a steady hand and some practice.

3.Apply your eyeliner along your upper lash line. Start from the inner corner of your eye and work your way outward. Make sure the line is thin at the inner corner and gradually thickens toward the outer corner.

4.Use a small brush or a smudging tool to blend the eyeliner outwards. This will create the smokey effect. You can also smudge the eyeliner on your lower lash line, but be careful not to make it too heavy.

5.Layer your eyeliner for intensity. Apply another layer of eyeliner and smudge it out again to intensify the smokey effect.

6.Finish off your look with mascara. Curl your lashes and apply mascara to complete the look.

Some additional tips:

-If you're using a pencil eyeliner, you can warm it up by holding it under a lamp or by running it over the back of your hand before applying it. This will make it easier to apply smoothly.

-Don't be afraid to experiment with different colors of eyeliner. A deep navy or dark green can also create a beautiful smokey effect.

-Remember to keep your makeup balanced. If you're going for a bold smokey eye, keep the rest of your makeup simple.

-Practice makes perfect. It may take a few tries to get the look just right, but with a little patience and practice, you'll be a smokey eyeliner pro in no time!
